When is it? Saturday 19th October 2019 - 6:45pm start Where is it taking place? Chirk Castle, Chirk, Wrexham, LL14 5AF. See Map for more information How much does it cost to enter? We take great pride in being the cheapest Night Run out there... but also one of very few, that are not for profit. Adult - £13 (£20 if you enter both Telford & Chirk) Child - £7 (£10 if you enter both Telford & Chirk) *a small Eventbrite processing fee will applied at checkout What will I need to raise in sponsorship? We ask that all participants try to raise a minimum of £10, for Hope House. Click here for more information and to start Fundraising for this fabulous charity! Are there any age restrictions? All participants under the age of 16 (15 and under), will be required to stay with a parent/guardian for the duration of the event. Any finishers under the age of 16 who arrive at the finish area without a parent/guardian, will not receive a medal/goody bag as they have breached our event rules. Facilities: The toilets will be open before and during Dark Run 2019. Please refrain from using the bushes as a toilet, as this is a National Trust property!
Can I take part with my Dog? Unfortunately, due to previously highlighted safety concerns, we no longer allow dogs (or other pets) to take part in Dark Run events.

Parking: Please note that you MUST be in the car park by 6pm as the gates will be closed and you WILL NOT be able to enter after this time. The route takes part on the access road, therefore this is essential. Thanks for your understanding.
Location of start? The run starts and finishes at the castle itself, and is a closed road route, within the castle grounds. Getting there by road? Chirk Castle is 7 miles south of Wrexham, 8 miles north of Oswestry and 5 miles from Llangollen. It is clearly signposted from the A5 and A483. From the A5 proceed 1 mile to Chirk village, the entrance to the estate is 2 miles west of Chirk village and is clearly signposted. Please note: When you arrive by car at the white iron Davies gates please continue to your right. The entrance to the estate is 1.4 miles further on. |
